Players Circle Offers a Variety of Entertainment This Fall
Players Circle’s Encore summer season continues through September and October with a full calendar of world class entertainment and fun education opportunities for all ages.
Brian Gurl and Carlann Evans will perform Sept. 5 – 7. What do you get when you cross the talents of Liberace, Vladimir Horowitz and Jerry Lee Lewis? The one, the only…Brian Gurl. Pianist, vocalist and arranger extraordinaire Gurl will be joined by Carlann Evans, violin virtuoso and member of Sarasota Orchestra, for a captivating evening of musical artistry. Enjoy Broadway to Billy Joel & Tangoes to Boogie – Woogie! Performances will be Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m.

Danny Sinoff
Players Circle Theater welcomes the Danny Sinoff Trio Sept. 12 – 14. The Danny Sinoff Trio delivers an unforgettable musical experience, led by the charismatic Sinoff – an accomplished pianist, vocalist, and bandleader whose magnetic stage presence and musical flair captivate audiences from the very first note. Each performance features a new unique lineup. Performances will be Friday at 7:30 p.m. – Sinatra the Early Years, Saturday at 7:30 p.m. – The Best of Porter & Gershwin and Sunday at 3 p.m. – The Best of Sinatra.

A Day in Hollywood - A Night on Broadway
A Day in Hollywood – A Night on Broadway will be presented Sept. 18 – 21. Join four of your favorite Players Circle all-stars as they take you on a multimedia musical tour through Tinseltown and the Great White Way, featuring your favorite movie musicals and Broadway Blockbusters, from Annie Get Your Gun and Singin’ in the Rain to Wicked and beyond. Shows will be Thursday – Saturday at 7:30 p.m. & Saturday & Sunday at 3 p.m.
Players Circle wraps up the month with comic RC Smith & Friends on Sept. 27 at 7:30 p.m. Laugh the night away with television’s (Late Night with Jimmy Fallon) best warm-up comic in the business and a Players Circle favorite. His style is rapid-fire, relentless & guaranteed to produce non-stop laughter.
October will kick of with mime Bill Bowers performing Oct. 3 – 5. Bill Bowers brings humor and heart to the stage in Between Us, a powerful story told through mime. Bowers is a Broadway actor (Lion King), he has performed through America (Radio City Music Hall, Kennedy Center and The White House). And around the world in Europe, Asia and the Edinburgh Festival. He was a student of legendary mime-Marcel Marceau. Performances will be Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m.
This fall, Players Circle Studio offers a dynamic range of classes for both kids and adults, designed to inspire creativity, build confidence, develop performance skills and have fun. Whether you’re a young aspiring actor or an adult looking to explore the stage, our experienced instructors provide supportive, engaging instruction in acting, improvisation and more. Class options include comedy class with comic RC Smith (ages 18+) Sept. 22 – Oct. 6; Rising Stars acting class (ages 8-14) Sept. 22 – Oct. 6; Musical theatre dance series (ages 8-adult) Nov. 17 – Dec. 1. The theatrical season will start back up on Oct. 21 when Players Circle presents Rumors on stage through Nov. 16. That will be followed by Ho! Ho! Ho! The Christmas Show Dec. 2 – 21, then Little Women will be staged Jan. 6 – Feb. 1. Over the Tavern will be presented Feb. 10 – March 8, followed by 4,000 Miles March 17 – April 5. I Loved, I Lost, I Made Spaghetti will be performed April 14 – May 10. The PCT season will end with Same Time, Next Year May 22 – June 7.
