FROM THE PRODUCERS AND FOUNDERS OF PLAYERS CIRCLE THEATER

We Are So Excited To Be Up And Running And Have You Back With Us

While we are not doing a full theater season yet, we are excited about using our new facility as a “nightclub\cabaret space.” Until we feel it’s completely safe to use all our 180 seats, which the economics of theater needs for any theater to break even, we know you’ll be thrilled with the entertainment we will be offering you.

Players Circle Theater Covid Regulations are taking place to ensure your safety and the safety of our artists, staff, and volunteers. Here’s what we will be doing at Players Circle Theater to keep us all safe:

  • SEATING

VIP: 46 VIP seats available per show, seated at a table closest to stage with waitress service for drinks and assorted high-end appetizers.

GENERAL ADMISSION: 28 theater seats are available in the back of the theater close to the stage. Waitress service is not included with general admission tickets, but guests can go to the lobby bar to get a drink and bring it into the theater.

  • MASKS AND TEMPERATURE CHECKS

We will be taking everyone entering our theater temperature before you enter the lobby, and we will insist you wear a mask until you are seated. If you don’t have a mask, we will provide you with one. We will insist you put your mask back on at intermission, when using the restrooms and exiting the theater. While not mandatory, we will strongly encourage you to wear a mask during the show.

  • SOCIAL DISTANCING

Players Circle Theater will be operating at a reduced capacity of less than 90 seats. Tables, chairs, and theater seating will be spaced apart. All employees, ushers, volunteers are encouraged to practice the six feet social distancing recommendations. Our waitress serving you cocktails and appetizers during the shows will also be wearing masks and gloves. And while Governor DeSantis has open up Florida to phase 3, which would allow us to operate at 180 people in the theater, we will err on the side of caution.

  • HEALTH AND SAFETY

We will employ a strict Return-to-work Protocol for all our employees that include temperature checks, face coverings, and practice frequent hand washing. We will also have hand sanitizer stations throughout the lobby.

  • CLEANING AND SANITIZING

Cleaning for your health. Rest assured that we have everyone’s health and wellness in mind and have always had a rigorous cleaning process. We have also implemented new sanitizing procedures and the utmost care quality in cleaning from top to bottom.

We know the ‘new normal’ will take some time to get used to for all of us, but in the near future, hopefully, we will all get back to enjoying a full theater season with exciting shows.

For now, we promise you some terrific entertainment:

Professional Comedians, Jazz Groups, One-Person Shows, Tribute Bands, and Even Burlesque.

And in January, we bring our first full theater production, the Florida Premiere of the recent Broadway comedy-drama, LIFESPAN OF A FACT. A play we know you will love, laugh at, and give you something to think about.

For those who recently filled out a survey conducted by the good people at Quenzel Marketing, THANK YOU. You let us know that most of you, with the right precautions, are excited about getting out of the house and safely being entertained. You can be assured that as we have been entertaining you for the last 35 years in SW Florida, we will continue to do so.

Thank you so much. Please continue to practice social distancing, wash those hands, wear those masks, stay healthy, and we will get through this pandemic together. So, sit back, enjoy a cocktail, and let us entertain you!

CHEERS,

Bob and Carrie
